The Early Days

I’ve been on the air since I was a kid however it was always CB Radio. My dad drove a truck so he always had a CB radio going, that’s where I learned. I had a Uniden PC33 that was peaked and tuned in my trucks with a 5ft Firestik and a Uniden basestation radio with a 21ft Solarcon on top of the house.

First Interest in Ham

My first interest in Ham radio was back in 1998 when I bought a study guide but I never persued it. Then me and some friends wanted to go after our tickets back in 2012 but we all bailed on the idea.
